Saudi sites registered in World Heritage List 

Following the supreme approval of the World Heritage Committee to add Saudi Arabia's major archeological sites to UNESCO World Heritage List, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) has succeeded so far in registering five key sites whose prime historical and heritage value has turned them into distinguished tourist attractions.  The SCHT has registered the following sites: Madain Saleh in 1429H, 2008, Hay Al Tareef in  Al-Dareyah in 1431H, 2010, Historic Jeddah Site in 1435H, 2014, Rock Art "Scratchings" in Jubba Shwaims in 1436H, 2015, Al-Ahsa Oasis in 1439H, 2018.​
