“Roads of Arabia” Expo at “Louvre Abu Dhabi” Museum in the UAE

Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and with the presence of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi will host the 15th stop of “Roads of Arabia, Masterpieces of Antiquates in Saudi Arabia Across the Ages ”Exhibition which will be heldfrom the 7th of November and until  the 16th of Feb,2019.

The Greatest Stop with More than 466 Artifacts

The 15th stop exhibition of the Exhibition held at “Louvre Abu Dhabi” is the largest and most prominent of the previous stops as 466 artifacts were added to reflect some of the living patterns of the common civilizations within the Arabian Peninsula, especially those related to the desert, chivalry, camels, falcon hunting and other means of hunting in the desert.

The exhibition will also include a pavilion of common civilizations and heritage between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Celebrating in the Establishment of the Museum and the “Year of Zayed”

The organization of exhibition at the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi is a part of mutual exhibitions and activities between the two countries, which have a close fraternal relationship and historical commonalities.

The organization of the exhibition also comes in line with the celebration of the UAE of the first anniversary of opening the museum, and the “Year of Zayed”, to mark the centennial anniversary of the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the father who founded the United Arab Emirates.

“Roads of Arabia, Masterpieces of Antiquities in Saudi Arabia Across the Ages” Exhibition, which is organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage is one of the most important Saudi international exhibitions that presented the cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula to more than five million visitors from all over the world by holding the exhibition in the most famous international museums in the European, American and Asian cities and capitals of the world. 

The Exhibition has formed an important and vital opportunity to inform the world of the civilizations of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula, its rich cultural heritage, and cultural and historical elements extended across the ages.
